It’s hard to believe that it has been a year since I started this blog. It began as a place for me to put little tidbits of writing here and there and, while having remained that, has developed a small group of people who read it. To all of you I say thank you and I hope you continue to follow and read my writing (as boring as it can get). I would like to thank my friends and comrades who have proofread my posts, provided constructive criticism, and allowed for me to grow as a writer and as a Marxist. A huge thank you also to the professionals who read my blog and have used it as a resource. A few have reached out to me before concerning my Ireland series and my Palestine article. Hearing about people truly appreciating what I am doing is what keeps me going with this project.
I promise that with this next year of Red Sun in the Sky, there will be more posts. Things such as university and other personal matters had kept me from posting as frequently as I should and I do apologise. I am currently working on a large project on prison abolition that should be entering the final stages within the next few days. Be on the look-out for that. I am always open for suggestions from anyone on the contact page and on my twitter. Again, thanks so much for a fantastic year and here’s to another!
